Panel of speakers including an advocate for ovarian cancer survivors, an ovarian cancer survivor and a medical professional working in this specialized field. October 18th: Celebrating the Impact of BPW Bursaries Panel of speakers including a teaching staff member from Canadian Harambee Education Society who taught in Kenya at their school for girls. November 17th: Silent Auction and Fashion Show Fabulous clothes by Fashion Statement and great silent auction items to raise funds for our bursary program. December 13th: Launching the Holidays with Laughter Yoga January 17th: Women in Politics Panel Three female politicians (one entering politics, one currently in politics and one having left the field) addresses the pros and cons of women pursuing political office. February 29th: Celebrating BPW Internationally This event focuses on BPW's roots and efforts at the international level and features our recent bursary winner in the mature woman category. March 21st: SANE Program This panel features a speaker from the SANE program, a new initiative to minimize trauma for rape victims. April 18th: Economic Status of our Community and Province May 16th: Annual General Meeting and Financial Panel This panel addresses the financial hiccups women experience as they start or change careers, businesses and relationships.
